Grameen America partners with BeyGOOD

Grameen America joined BeyGOOD Foundation’s Black Parade Route, advancing new partnership to provide entrepreneurial women with affordable capital 

Elevate by Grameen America partnered with BeyGOOD to provide a digitally-forward program that supports entrepreneurs across their entire entrepreneurial voyage, providing access to capital, resources, and a powerful network that fosters their ambitions and creates generational wealth.

Through the partnership, small business owners gained access to affordable capital and business support at BeyGOOD’s Black Parade Route Small Business luncheons—empowering hundreds of entrepreneurs across the country.

Grameen America is supporting the Black Parade Route with a commitment of up to $1 million in microloans for entrepreneurs participating in the luncheons. Participants will be able to apply to the Grameen America program to access first-time loan capital available starting from $500 to $2,500, as well as financial training and peer support with other entrepreneurs along the Black Parade Route. Grameen America is the only microlender providing business support and resources to the Black Parade Route participants.

What is BeyGOOD Foundation’s Black Parade Route? 

Global icon Beyoncé Knowles-Carter founded BeyGOOD in 2013 to support people, communities, and small businesses impacted by economic inequalities. The foundation promotes economic equity through scholarships, internships, and resources for entrepreneurs, with global efforts spanning education, health, housing, and more. In 2020, Beyoncé launched the Black Parade Route to uplift local businesses, awarding over 900 small businesses with $10,000 grants and digital recognition. The initiative continues with exclusive events for BIPOC business owners in cities across her Renaissance World Tour.
